Mahina founded Alpha Gal Pal after her own Alpha-Gal Syndrome diagnosis and the sudden onset of food fear that followed. With a professional background in customer relations, EVS management, and food safety, she brings both personal experience and practical insight to the AGP community. Mahina is a proud mother of two sons, mother-in-law to two wonderful daughters, and “Mimi” to three cherished grandchildren. These days, she devotes her time to supporting others through Alpha Gal Pal—and to her favorite roles of all: full-time dog mom and wife.

James has always been the technical brain behind Mahina’s wild ideas, helping turn vision into reality. A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, he’s spent his career in the field of cybersecurity, where he continues to thrive. Whether it’s building behind-the-scenes systems or offering strategic tech support, James plays a key role in keeping Alpha Gal Pal running smoothly.

Jim serves as our Vice President of Marketing and Business, helping steer Alpha Gal Pal’s growth with strategy, structure, and a bit of humor. A U.S. Army veteran, Jim brings decades of experience in construction, business management, certified tree hugging—and a passion for getting things done. Around here, he’s known for keeping Mahina’s big ideas on track in check.
